Sorry, my experience with the app is somewhat limited.

I do run it on MySQL 5 and I have no problems.

Hello:

I apologize if I replied twice to this response, but I left out the
previous messages in my last reply so I'm guessing that no one knew
what I was talking about.

Anyway, we did run update.php. The entire upgrade was done from the
command line and appeared to have completed without a hitch.

Interestingly, we did the upgrade about 3 weeks ago and the error
message did not start showing up until about 4 days ago. Our remote
host says that it's because of increased traffic to the site but I am
not totally convinced of this explanation. I just want to make sure
that something else is not going on (if that's possible).

We are currently running MediaWiki v 1.8.2, php 5.1.1 and mysql
4.1.15. Should we upgrade to the latest version of mysql? I'm just
not sure where the source of the problem is or even where to start
looking.

Again, here is the error message we are getting:

> A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug
> in the software. The last attempted database query was:
> (SQL query hidden)
> from within function "MediaWikiBagOStuff::_doquery". MySQL returned

I'm pretty concerned because our site has been down quite a lot over
the past few days.

Thanks for any help or suggestions you can offer.
