there is one to prevent you from erasing others work.

it's even boring. on wikipedia I had several times
benevolent people adding categories on the page I was just
editing. It's very easy to lose work with this, so the
advice of making a copy of the text :-)

I could even make a draft on my own mediawiki, but it's
boring when one deal with images.
