[Mediawiki-l] Wrong user count in Special:Statistics

Hi there,

running MediaWiki 1.5.8 (prod) and 1.6.8 (test) we use a remote database for user authentication.

Since we began that, the user count in Special:Statistics doesnŽt renew even new user records are added!

It seems the code doesnŽt flow over LoginForm->addNewAccountInternal() ?

Do we have do add this anywhere in our auth extension?
