[Mediawiki-l] linking to C++

I'm unable to link to articles with '+' characters in their names, as in 
the case of "C++".  I looked to Wikipedia, and see they do it just 
fine.  Even if I copy the URL hex codes from the Wikipedia article name 
to my wiki URL article name, I only get an article named "C".  What do I 
need to do?

I'm running version MediaWiki 1.6.5.
