[Mediawiki-l] Upgrade

Hi,

I have a Linux account with IX WebHosting. And I would like to upgrade my
Mediawiki from 1.5.3 to the newest version.

The problem is that I need a step by step procedure. Specially considering that
IX WebHosting doesn't allow Security Shell Mode, so I can not use upgrade.php,
etc.

Any one familiar with IX WebHosting and willing to help me?
