[Mediawiki-l] Target new browser in wiki syntax?

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Opening_external_links_in_a_new_window may be 
what you want, though it is a sitewide change.

This is what is implemented on http://www.chainki.org even though some in 
this forum (ha! ha!) think opening external links in a new window is rude.
