The messages are in MediaWiki: namespace. Change them there (in
MediaWiki:Nstab-main for the content language you set in the instllation
(English?), and MediaWiki:Nstab-main/xx for any other language (for
example, MediaWiki:Nstab-main/de). Change them in those pages. You can
access them also via Special:Allmessages.
