[Mediawiki-l] Generating localSettings.php in custom folder

I am trying to move my wiki to the sourceforge servers since it works as a
documentation site for a tool already located at SF, but it seems I can't
chmod the config folder to gain write access and I have difficulties writing
the localSettings.php manually. So, I'm wondering if it is possible to make
the wiki config page write to my own server, where I can have the right
permissions set up, or maybe just print the file to screen instead of
writing the file to the current servers config folder? Anyone?
