[Mediawiki-l] Oracle help..

LDAP = Database = Oracle

Lots of companies use LDAP authentication and as such a lot of people
want to integrate the wiki logon with LDAP data.
This sounds like exactly what you want just with an Oracle database.
I have never done this before so I can't really offer any more advice
apart from saying the answer is in the archives.

Hi,
I have quick question.
Sorry to keep bugging you.

I am not that great with this LDAP connection and what it really does.
How does this apply to the question that I've asked?

My initial thought was that, correct me if I am wrong, I need to make
connection to Oracle database somewhere. Then get the user information
and
set it as user session/cookie using functions that is
built in Media Wiki somwhere, which I have to find where that is...

Am I approaching it wrong?

Thanks.
