[Mediawiki-l] math extension

   I am using shared hosting which disables shell_exec for security
reasons. Can I still use the math extension? Here is the errors I
receive trying to use it:

shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons in
/home/.olin/robkohr/wiki/includes/Math.php on line 75

Failed to parse (unknown error): \sum_{n=3}^\infty \frac{x^z}{j!}
