Wikia is intending to use OpenServing for news and opinions sites
since the software has a heavy focus on rating and displaying current
and popular events, not for general wiki communities - which will
remain at
wikia.com and continue to use a version of MediaWiki fairly
close to the standard version.
Also while I'm here, can anybody point me to a
suitable forum for
discussion of the openserving project from a community builders point
of view please?
