Here is a snap from my LocalSettings.php:
------------------------------------------
#Changes made by Simon Wagner
#-Change the Time to Germany time
$wgLocaltimezone="Europe/Berlin";
$wgLocalTZoffset = +2; //+1 Normal, +2 Sommertime
------------------------------------------
Well, but now i am coming up with a question:
Is there any support for automatic summer time change? I think there is a
formula which calculates the day when the time offset changes, but i can't
remember it.

Subject: [Mediawiki-l] non-utc time variables
It seems like it would be a common request, but I
can't seem to find
the solution. How can I set the time offset so that time variables
like {{CURRENTDAYNAME}} are based on something other than UTC. I am
running mediawiki for a small group of geographically homogeneous
users and having things be based on UTC is very confusing for them.
I have read
http://mail.wikipedia.org/pipermail/mediawiki-l/2004-April/000357.html
but that seems to be addressing a different problem.
Thanks for your help :)
Judson
