I install mediawiki 1.49 on Redhat Linux 9.
After I followed the instruction and installed mysql,
apache and php, I got the following error msg when I
tried to config the mediawiki on the web browser.

* Found ImageMagick: /usr/bin/convert; image
thumbnailing will be enabled if you enable uploads.
* Installation directory: /var/www/wiki

* Connected to database... 4.1.14-standard;
enabling MySQL 4 enhancements
* Database wikidb1 exists
* There are already MediaWiki tables in this
database. Checking if updates are needed...

...indexes seem up to 20031107 standards
...linkscc is up to date, or does not exist. Good.
Converting links table to ID-ID...
Sorry! The wiki is experiencing some technical
difficulties, and cannot contact the database server.
