[Mediawiki-l] How do I insert pages directly into the DB

I need to do a wiki migration from an ancient wiki (VQ wiki) to 1.5.  I
had scripts for 1.4 that inserted into cur, but of course they no longer
work.

Is there a resource anywhere that explains how to do this?  I don't care
about change history, just getting the pages in.
