1)By default, most of the "messages" are loaded from the database. You
can see them (and edit them) as any wiki page. The only thing to know is
that they are in the MediaWiki namespace. So, change one of the message
in the upload page, first, get the name of this message, and then go to
the page [[MediaWiki:NameOfTheMessage]]
2)You can use shortcut to create easily links to other wikis. All the
links are stored in the database, in the "interwiki" table. Maybe you
should go there and find what is for the "en" entry.
