[Mediawiki-l] Debugging LDAP Authentication

Sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm a mediawiki and php newbie...

I'm trying to get the LDAP Authentication to work. I've successfully done a bind
to the LDAP from the Mediawiki box using a short php script, but I cannot get
the LDAP authentication to work.

I'm sure I could get this to work if I could see what is happening behind the
scenes. How can I output or log the results of the various stages in
Ldapauthentication.php?
