[Mediawiki-l] blue links for nonexistent special pages

I noticed that, while mediawiki by default creates red links for
nonexistent wiki pages and blue links to existed ones, links to
special pages are always blue. Is there a way to have the wiki check
to see if a special page exists, and display a link of a different
color (gray? green? or whatever) so it's easy for the user to tell
when they preview the page, that they've mistyped a link to a special
page?
