[Mediawiki-l] Adding lins to any page to the mediawiki sidebar

How do I add any pape to the Mediawiki sidebar

I am currently editing ...../MediaWiki:Sidebar but when I enter links
they showup on the page but not in the sidebar

The following links do not work in the sidebar

Or
 [[FET8611_-_people_-_2005s3|People]
