[Mediawiki-l] sql error

I've just installed 1.4.6 after downloading it from sourceforge.

When I update the a page, I get this error

 A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug
in the software. The last attempted database query was:

    (SQL query hidden)

from within function "LinkCache::preFill". MySQL returned error "1064:
You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'FOR UPDATE' at line 3
(mysql.webxess.net)".

Despite this, the page still updates correctly. Same happens with page creation.
