There is, in fact, an offer being discussed by Google and the Wikimedia
Foundation about providing some hosting support to supplement our
existing servers and hosting. Since it's under discussion there are no
firm final details, and it's not even certain that an agreement will be
reached (as in all negotiations).

Note that the Wikimedia Foundation is acutely aware of the necessity to
avoid becoming dependent on any single donor (no matter how cool they
may be).
