And it doesn't matter if the non-pretty forms of the uris are used.

I substituted
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Acid
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=ACID

and Firefox 1.0 on Linux exhibits the same odd behavior.
