I think what was meant was does it barf every time you type <nowiki>,
or [[word|another word]], or some of the other odd strings of letters
and punctuation that make up wikitext?

(The server-side spellchecker on LiveJournal is incredibly irritating
in this respect, because for instance the "href" in "<a href..." is
flagged as a misspelling every time, thus defeating the preview part
of "check spelling and preview"; I don't entirely blame the coders,
but it is very annoying)
