[Mediawiki-l] MediaWiki_PHPBB_Auth_v2.2

Hi All,
I am running mediawiki 1.5.3 on Fedora Core 4.  and I
am also running phpBB2 on the same box.

I installed  Auth_phpbb.php, which I found in the
extension download list of the
http://meta.wikimedia.org/ at this link,
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Auth_phpbb.php

This extension works well, when the username is in
regular character.  But when username are in Chinese, 
Name are not logging in and mediawiki is teling me
that the username is not in the database. Even those
username has been created in the phpBB registration
page and is OK to log into phpBB.

Can you take a look into this.
