yeah that's the option were i enable the upload. but i want to have a
popup, when i hit the upload button, to open the site in a new window
(as a popup)

any ideas.

In your LocalSetting.php, create a new line (might make sure it
doesn't
already exist first) with "$wgEnableUploads = true;" in it. I think
that's all it takes, and without it, you can't even upload by manually
entering the Special:Upload URL.
