Hello Morten,
Maybe you can try rerunning the installer script:
http://yourhost/wiki/config/
You will have to make a backup of your LocalSettings.php file since the
installer script will not run if you already have one. The installer
should run the updater script or at least regenerate mediawiki: messages.
As for the console, Jens Ropers send a message explaining it all.
