That will be done, at the end of the migration period, regardless.  But
given that there are a number of (fairly small) differences between the
two setups, we are not blindly restarting tools.

The interval during which you /can/ migrate by hand allows you to check
on things according to your own availability and at your own pace.  That
doesn't seem ridiculous.
