[Labs-l] Network outage affecting LABS

Hello all,

At around 17:00 UTC today network connectivity between the Tempa and
Ashburn data centers was interrupted because of a failure of the fiber
links between the two sites.

The operations team has worked around the networking issue, restoring
network connectivity between Tampa (where labs is located) and the
outside world, but has not yet been able to restore connectivity between
the two data centers proper.

Due to the magnitude of the outage (last news report no less than three
fibers cut) we do not yet have an ETA for the return of full connectivity.

Impacted systems:

- Database replicas are inaccessible to Labs.
- Instance management may not work properly.
