[Labs-l] memcached is broken

I can take a look at it tonight, but are you sure this should be the case?
Maybe listening on localhost was a design choice. Maybe security related or
to make sure we keep things consistent.

Can someone confirm that this is ok to do? What is the expected behavior of
the memcached servers?
