[Foundation-l] Since Egypt has shutdown internet, should we too?

Relevant to Egypt and WMF, it is important that Al-Jazeera has
released a pile of photos and video as CC by-nd and CC-by-nc-nd:

Now, those aren't free content licenses. But for a news organisation
to release stuff under even such restrictive licenses as those is
*radical*.

Is there anyone who could ask someone at Al Jazeera about releasing
selected photos or clips as CC by-sa? Possible pitch: "Your images of
the event on Wikipedia! Representing it to the world!"
