A few months ago an example of the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure was
deleted. This was done by a commons admin and the only note left was this:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Rey-osterreith_example.jpg&oldid=29878917I
agree that it would be great for those following up to have more
information about who submitted the request and what the avenues to dispute
it are. Mike BTW helped get this image returned.

There are people and organization who try to suppress information in the
public domain. Attempts were made to have a pair of intersecting pentagons
removed as seen here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:InterlockingPentagons.svg Wikipedians are
not free from legal action either and if action are brought against you you
maybe required to find your own legal representation. I spend nearly a year
dealing with complaints regarding my involvement with the Rorschach test.
Thankfully I have legal insurance and it ended up costing me personally only
about a thousand $ and a few nights of little sleep :-).
