It is a vastly underused list, as foundation-l tends to cover most meta
issues. Meta is one of those projects that couldn't exist on its own,
unlike, say Wiktionary which could easily become an independent project. It
exists to discuss and support other projects, and support the WMF as a
whole, like in this case, hosting Wikimania images.

Sadly, I have no idea how to register the list.
