Fine, debate is good :). Now can this thing's purpose and powers be outlined clearly?

Hoi,
1 When the size is too big, there will not be a functioning body. When you
think that a community is well represented by having loads of random popular
persons, then I fail to see how this body can be of any practical use
2 The board is not accountable. The board consists largely of people that
are chosen to represent the people that voted. Given that the seats become
available in a staggered way you can not realistically state that they are
accountable.
3 When you read the initial proposal, you will find that we are talking
about the method at this stage. Not the people who may become part of such a
body
1 A size of 200/400 gives a group that is too unwieldy. It will only be a
talkshop.
2 Consider that we have over 200 Wikipedias over 100 Wiktionaries... not
realistic when you have only 200/400 people in this group
3 Call it whatever ... Wikimedia talking shop perhaps ?
4 Given that we are all volunteers, it will only be people that are
interested.. so why will these be the right people for the job ?
5 Yeah right ... but in the mean time you have burdened this group with a
number of natterers that makes it doomed to fail.
PS you asked for people's thoughts ...
Thanks,
GerardM
