[Foundation-l] Racism in Commons

Okay, but how is that racist? My mother is Jewish so that means I am
as well, although I am non-practicing, and I don't see how any of
those images are racist.

Racist images of Jews often involve, in my experience:

- Exaggerated noses
- Clutching money in their hands
- An evil grin

...this type of thing. Those images on that page are certainly
offensive, but I would not say they are racist. None of them
criticizes him for being white, or Jewish, or even Israeli. The point
made in all of them relates to his political career.

What you are suggesting is like if I were to say that a cartoon of
George Bush laughing about Iraq with a swastika on his chest was
racist. It certainly isn't, although it is certainly offensive to
many.

Please be careful with words like racism, they are loaded terms and
should not be used unless they for sure apply.
