Hi thomasasta,

Storage space is not a problem, for now. And video upload rate won't be 
so high to not being affordable.
This requires an user download client, which will make it being rejected 
almost inmediatly.
It uses a new approach using "noise blocks" for several files, but as 
long as you need to download new blocks when requesting new pages, it 
has the same problems as previous proposals like bittorrent (see 
wikitech archives).
Direct download is faster and can be afforded. :-)
How would you support "deleting" files? (eg. copyright violations)
These proposals should better go to wikitech-l. You don't want the 
technical folks to know about it when WMF supports a new system ;-).
