News flash: German Federal Archives donate more than 100,000 pictures,
uploading to Wikimedia Commons has started (CC-BY-SA).

The pictures are very important to close the lack of photographs from the
20th century. They do not only show Germans or places in Germany, although
mostly. Many different subjects. Below some examples.
