It seems to me that legal issues of Egypt are totally relevant to the
WMF, as that's where Wikimania is going to be held.  I also think
discussion of laws in other locations are right on-topic, as bidding
for the next Wikimania is right around the corner.

I agree that discussions about free will and religion are off-topic,
and the moderator has made it clear that those discussions should
stop.  But this thread isn't about that.
