Just so everyone is clear - Wikiseek is *not* a Wikimedia project and to
my knowledge, *not* a Wikia project either. Funding, although announced
on the wikiseek site, is not a formal agreement with WMF.

I won't reply to the rest before I talk to Wikiseek myself. I'm not
clear, though, on the nature of the claim that it is a violation of the
GFDL. Why precisely do you think the titles of pages can't be used
without a violation of the GFDL?

Any Bibliographic index has a copyright, and this is GPL for the external lists of weburls to each article, as the url is not just an url, but a content reference of the article. As the database of wikiseek is using and summarizing them, and it is not a GPL database of wikisek, this is a licence conflict.
