[Commons-l] Commons admins should be able to view deleted images Wikimedia wide

This comes up every now and then, but now it is finally possible to
make Global Groups. This means that if there is Wikimedia wide
consensus for it, the stewards could create a user groups, in which a
SULed user can be added so that they can view deleted edits on any
project. Needless to say this would be incredibly useful for Commons
admins who need to review crosswiki file uploads.

Any opinions on this and how to get the unnecessary consensus on this?
