[Advocacy Advisors] Proposed law in Spain

Hi all,

this is very interesting, because Spain has never been on the forefront of
copyright law improvement. In Germany, we are facing a similar development,
based on a private initiative. The so-called "Cultural Commons Collecting
Society" [1] was succesfully crowdfunded as an alternative to the existing
and very intransparent GEMA, now waiting for final approval by the Federal
Patent Office. In contrast to GEMA, it will facilitate the financial
compensation of CC-licensed musical works.

Best, Jan
