While I see T13’s concerns, L235 can still assist in bug fixes. He shouldn’t necessarily be assigned a task for the rewrite but he could hang around and fix the current codeset or environment if needed.

My only hesitation is the lack of will to commit any time to the project. Progress on any project requires a time commitment, and we really don't need dead weight that isn't willing to commit any time. I don't know what our activity threshold should be at this point, but we certainly need one. T13
