Dear members,

as announced previously we have been working on our next annual grant application which has been submitted on the new grant portal  fluxxo.io (the deadline was the 31/11)  . Now the proposal is available on Meta via this link :

https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Programs/Wikimedia_Community_Fund/Wiki_World_Heritage_User_Group_Annual_Plan_2022

Now we are looking forward to receiving the feedback/questions from the grant committee.

Best Regards

Thank you Yamen!

I am not finding it super easy to understand all. Would you be able to open the GoogleSheet for comments?
(like you already had for GoogleDoc with narrative part...that would make it easier to ask questions/suggest)

Best - Z

Hi Z,

This is the draft that I was working on : https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Yamen/Draft/#Project_Proposal.
Please if you would like to suggest additional changes, let me know so I can update the budget accordingly.

@All members : please feel free to suggest activities that require funding so we can cover them by the proposal.

Thanks
Yamen

Hi! When would you hope to have a pre-submission version drafted and agreed on?

Hi Derrick,
Yes these sites are on the tentative list and we can include them in a new project that we can call WH2BE.
If you can share with us an estimate of the budget with a high level breakdown that you need to run this activity and the expected outcomes/metrics we can include it in the proposal.

Thanks
Yamen

Hello Yemen and the team ,
I hope this finds you well ,  it’s good to hear from you, the Community in Rwanda is planing to have a project focus on documenting ( videos, audios and the photographs ) the 6 Genocide memorial sites that were registered under UNESCO and we plan to have a documentation published on wiki commons and Wikipedia  , could this fit to be part of the activities by the WIKI Heritage User Group for next year!??
