Glad to see such a discourse opening up. Getting to know of such a useful tool as Zonestamp as well. I've pinned both dates to my calendar.
Cheers.

Hello,
Last week, the Wikimedia Foundation shared its draft annual plan on Meta https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_Annual_Plan/2022-2023/draft and invited input via open calls in different time zones https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_Annual_Plan/2022-2023/draft/Your_Input. You might have noticed that Maryana recognized that Commons is in desperate need of repair and made it a priority for the year ahead.
There will be two calls dedicated to Commons:
Wikimedia Commons 1 https://wikimedia.zoom.us/j/81713873148 on Tuesday 26 April at 10:00 to 11:30 UTC https://zonestamp.toolforge.org/1650967254
Wikimedia Commons 2 https://wikimedia.zoom.us/j/83877607603 on Thursday 28 April at 16:00 to 17:30 UTC https://zonestamp.toolforge.org/1651161601
Each call will be open to anyone to attend and you don’t need to register in advance.
Commons is such an important project for GLAMs and other content partners. We really hope you can make it to one of the conversations.
All the best,
Fiona
