I don’t have much to offer, but we would love to connect if you have contacts in the Caribbean. We at WikiConference North America have been trying to reach more people from the region, and may be able to offer travel scholarships to the conference this year in October.

Wikimedia Nederland has been granted project funding for the project Wikipedia on Aruba, which entails a Wikimedian in Residence role for the island of Aruba which is part of the Caribbean part of the Netherlands. The Wikimedian in Residence will work with our local cultural heritage partners towards the projects main goal of encouraging and supporting a thriving and sustainable Wikimedia community in Aruba, focused on documenting and sharing Aruban culture and heritage through Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata.
