Hi everyone, I have another meeting I thought I could get out of but am
unable. Apologies. I did want to share that we're planning our first
Agricultural Law edit-a-thon dedicated to the Food Safety Modernization
Act. At NAL I'm now a part of the Agricultural Law Partnership with the
Agricultural Law Center in Arkansas and Vermont Law School. We'll have
representatives of both, fellows from both programs, USDA food safety
experts and others in attendance to talk about food safety and FSMA and
share relevant resources all three partners have to offer. I'm currently
working on the work list and I'll send around the Eventbrite when we finish
getting it up. I'm really excited to share this work with you all and hope
that if you have time you might join us at some point on March 23rd for our
program and edit-a-thon. Both partners have a lot of farmer and consumer
focused information to help explain agricultural laws and their
implications and information to help farmers and producers be compliant as
well.
Hope everyone is doing well, please take care.
Best,
Jamie

Hi fellow WRENs,
Join here on Wednesday:

Wed January 27, 12pm – 1pm Eastern Time - New York
Note that we will not be using Wikimedia Meet this time (it is
experiencing technical problems), but instead Google Meet.
Topics will include Wikipedia 20 & GLAM, 1lib1ref and WikiWomen's History
Month and other seasonal campaigns, as well as the Project Grants Round for
Online and/or Offline Community Organizing projects, which closes February
10:

We might in particular want to consider any resources we could apply for
in a Project grant that might be of use to multiple campaigns and
institutions that we work with.
Thanks,
Richard
