Thanks for getting back to me (excuse my late reply). And good to know that you think there wasn't a residency in the Caribbean. So far I have not heard that there was one, so we might be the first.
And also: would you remember the name of that person that was in Tel Aviv? I would love to know who it was so I could reach out to them (I do not think it was someone related to this project).

For the first question, and based on https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedian_in_residence, I'm 90 % sure there was no residency in the Caribbean so far. So it would indeed be a first.
PS: I think I remember that there was someone from Aruba at the GLAM wiki conference back in 2018 in Tel Aviv, nice to see things moving forward.
