Hello Isaac,

Thanks for your response. I've some questions.

1. Where can I find the ranking of all participating communities? The query of #WPWP from the monitoring tool is showing English Wikipedia in the first position but they are not an individual participating community. These statistics will help us to improve our strategies.

2. Would you please let me know the exact number of countries and communities participating in this campaign globally? We'll use that information to motivate our editors to contribute.

3. How can we get the top new contributor ranking?

4. The monitoring tool shows the total revised edit number at the top of the page but in the graphs and participants' contribution, we're not sure whether those numbers are "revised" or not. I think the other communities are using this tool perfectly. It would be better if we could know how they're conducting the review process. One of our local organizing team members is also trying to design a bot that will serve as a backup of the monitoring tool. We'll also get enough customizability if we're successful in building the bot.

5. The petscan tool is recommending articles with images frequently despite mentioning that we want articles without images only. That's why the team which is working to update our "suggested article list" is depending on the quarry tool

6. Would you please update the related documents of this campaign mentioning WMBD as the organizer in Bangladesh? We've already updatedthis page (the 24th item of the list).

Kind regards,
Rafi.

Hi Rafi and friends,

I am really excited about this news and we are glad that you are recruiting Notre Dame English Club to participate in this campaign. This is a strategic approach to recruiting more volunteers for Bangla Wikipedia.

We are glad that the campaign is going on smoothly in your community and the news that Wikimedia Bangladesh is co-organising the campaign with you and the weekly event you are planning to organise are thrilling.

One good news; globally, Wikipedia Bangla is currently the top on the list of Wikipedia with the most articles improved with photos. This is a clear evidence that your hard work is impactful.

We are glad to learn about User:Your Poltergeist contributions. We have a special prize for top new contributor and they might just be the winner of that international prize if they continue with this pace.

On the concern you raised about the hashtags tracking rate, I want to confirm that we are aware of the issue and this have been raised with the tool manager and they have optimized it. Although, it's an hour late in real-time tracking but it's working fine.

The "reverted wrong edits" are shown as part of "revisions". When you query the hashtags database, the revisions are shown and the actual pages improved are shown below it.

If a user isn't getting it, and they are being reverted multiple times, such user may be asked to stop, attend training and continue thereafter. If the disruption continue, they should be disqualified and we should be notified.

Best regards

Isaac

Hello Isaac,
I've some exciting news to share with you.

1. Our local chapter, Wikimedia Bangladesh (WMBD) has joined us as the organizer. They'll take care of the prizes and help to organize the campaign in Bangladesh. Tanvir bhaiya (User:Wikitanvir) will collaborate with us from WMBD. We're planning to arrange weekly discussion sessions on zoom where the participants will be able to interact with us directly. We've found this technique useful in our previous editathons.

2. I invited Notre Dame English Club (NDEC) to encourage their members to participate in this campaign and they agreed. This Notre Dame College(NDC)-based extra-curricular organization is the oldest and the largest English club in Bangladesh as I know. Nafis Sadiq is collaborating from their side. We're trying to arrange training sessions for them as early as possible. I would like to thank the hon'ble moderator of NDEC, Suranjita Barua madam (Senior Lecturer, English Dept., Notre Dame College) for her kind cooperation. Our monitoring tool is saying that NDEC member Tazim ( User:Your Poltergeist O3) is in the 4th position right now. Best wishes to him!  It's amazing to see them signing up for Wikipedia with little or no training and jumping to the top of the list within hours. They've also shown interest to help enriching NDC, Dhaka related articles in Bangla, English and Simple English Wikipedia in the upcoming days.
If the inclusion of NDEC in this campaign shows a notable impact on our campaign, we'll try to include similar educational institutions or co-curricular organizations in our next campaigns.

3. Our review team is experiencing some problems using the hashtag monitoring tool. They've reported the tool to be slow. It takes time to be updated. Besides the reverted "wrong edits" are also being shown in the tool. So our reviewers can't get the exact metrics after reviewing. I'll grateful if you help us with these issues.

Best,
Mrb Rafi.
