Hello Antanna and colleagues,

Thanks for this information, @Antanana. For some strange reason, I missed the attributions. I am genuinely sorry for this omission. The picture used for the banner was released under CC-BY-SA 4.0. not CC0.

Please see the attribution or credit line: Derivative of File:Ogoy island in winter.jpg by Sergey Pesterev under CC-BY-SA 4.0 used by Blessing Ojo under CC-BY-SA 4.0.

Best regards

Isaac

Hello there!
Thank you for supporting this. I do have one question about the picture used for promotion - there is no attribution (no author, no license). Was the picture released under cc0 license or is it in public domain?

Hello everyone,

We are glad to inform you that the campaign banner is now available in English, French and Arabic language. We have also attached the banner without the text for communities that do not speak any of the aforementioned languages.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Regards

Isaac & Yamen

Hello Dear Isaac

I acknowledge receipt of the email in the safety and health of my community and me.

I am more impatient than you for the launch of this campaign because you feel that the communication around on social networks is well organized because there is not a day that I do not see the publications on twitter and installed.

I am also happy to see that we have an increase of 43% compared to last year, it shows the impact of the campaign on the communities.

For the publication on July 1 this remains obvious because it is necessary if we want to give a great visibility to our publications.

Best regards

Hello everyone,

We hope this email finds you well and you are staying safe amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

We are really excited about the planning for the 2021 edition of the #WPWPCampaign. We want to thank you for the time and energy invested in planning  for this campaign in your various communities across the globe.

This year, the campaign will be organized locally by at least 45 Wikimedia affiliates in 40 countries. This is a 43% increase in the total number of participating communities last year.

The campaign will run from the 1st of July to 31st of August 2021 and we plan to do a global launching of the campaign in all social media networks on the 1st of July 2021.

On that day, we want all participating communities as well as individual participants to make a post about the campaign on all their social media networks in your language (Twitter, Facebook, and instagram) with the hashtag #WPWPCampaign2021.

You may use this texts in your post or any texts of your choice

"Help connect millions of photos with millions of Wikipedia pages that need them. Let’s make Wikipedia more visually exciting!"

The campaign handle on all social media networks is #WPWPCampaign. Please tag this handle in your posts. Follow us on social media, if you haven't done so already.

We have attached in this email the campaign banner (in English) for this year and another version without the texts for non-English language speakers who may want to have the banner in their local languages.

Please let us know if you require additional clarifications or information.

With best regards,
Isaac Olatunde
