Awesome, thanks for the update, Rafi!

I apologize for the slow response. I have not been home for a week now.

Congratulations! The campaign was a huge success in your community and you did manage it professionally.

For new editors, did you have a special prize for new editors or they competed for the general prize? If they competed for the general prizes, other users could raise an eyebrow if they are announced winners due to the enormous mistakes they made.

But we trust you and your team to make the best decision.

At the international team, we are interested in analyzing the total reverted edits. Can you teach me how to use the quarry tool?

Best regards

Isaac

Hello Isaac,

We've finished the campaign in Bangla Wikipedia on August 31 sharp at 12:59 pm successfully. Now we're analyzing the result. We're using the Quarry tool to get the statistics of total edits and reverted edits (including the hashtags) by any user as the monitoring tool isn't being updated.

Some small tensions have been raised. The top 5 participants in our community are new editors and they've made a lot of mistakes. Our community is trying to correct the wrong edits within the shortest time possible. But I'm trying to see the bright side of this situation. The top 5 are new editors who are working in Wikipedia for only 1/2 months and this is incredible! I think this is a huge success for us. We'll declare the local results within a few days and then we'll focus on preparing plans for the next similar campaigns. We'll mark our mistakes & try to learn from them. We'll also try to do some technical developments for these types of campaigns.

I personally learned a lot from this campaign and thanks a lot for this awesome experience.

Thanks again,
Rafi.
