  • Joint bids are to be encouraged for countries with more than one affiliate
    •  this has to be indicated when sending the invitation letter for countries to bid. 
  • The invitation letter to bid has to be accompanied by a bid submission form, drafts can be found HERE and HERE 
    • Dumi and Zayneb to work on the bid submission form and submit it to Wiscom by Wednesday, 30 March.
  •  Invitation letter to bid to be written via google docs and shared to WISCOM by Wednesday, 30 March for their review and additional inputs. 
    • Bobby to write the letter.

  • Announcement of next WikiIndaba conference host: Friday, 29 April 2022
AOB: 
  • WISCOM needs to lead the regional coordination of the  2030 Movement Strategy in the African continent. 
  • We already operate as a hub. Therefore, we need to develop an African Strategy to align the Movement Strategy with issues beset by African Wikimedian such as resources, events, grants etc. 
Next meeting will take place on 3 April 2022 at the same time. 

Proposed Agenda Items:
  • Bid adjudication Criterion
  • Call for community elections to fill in the 3 volunteer committee positions
  • Budgetary needs of the committee and
  • Review of WISCom practices (Documentation & file management)
