On behalf of the many people involved in helping curate some special events to commemorate Shakespeare at Winedale's 50th, I'm excited to share some details on how YOU can get involved!

Please mark your calendars to be with us for some very special Shakespeare at Winedale Virtual 50th Reunion Events on Friday evening, August 14 & Saturday evening, August 15. We can't be together in the Barn, but we've got a terrific line-up of virtual events for the weekend instead.

Friday, August 14

6:00 pm Watch the Welcoming Ceremony.
6:30 pm Stream Take Pains. Be Perfect. This is a private, sneak-peek screening of a new documentary about Shakespeare at Winedale and it is available for us to watch as a community this one night only through a special arrangement with the filmmakers in honor of the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
8:00 pm Participate in a talkback with the filmmakers via YouTube chat and a Slido survey.
8:30 pm Zoom (link coming soon) with all comers. It will be a chaotic but fun way to reunite virtually.

Saturday, August 15

6:00 pm Watch the 50th Anniversary Celebration!
6:30 pm Stream The Winter's Tale. This is the world premiere of a DIY version of The Winter's Tale, filmed (at a social distance) by over 80 former students and campers of Shakespeare at Winedale and lovingly stitched together by Take Pains. Be Perfect. Co-Director, Jason Harter. Don't miss this one-of-its-kind filmed performance featuring Doc Ayres as Time and James and Laurel Loehlin as Cleomenes and Dion!
Run time: Who knows? It's still being made. Watch till the end and then Zoom (link coming soon) with all comers.
